Approached by The Poster Club to create an exclusive print release, the ‘Peripheral’ collection was grown from the small details of my every day life.
If you let the days go by without consciously taking notice of the small details, the routine and the ordinary aspects of daily life can feel mundane and dull. Inspired by the curious nature of my 4 year old daughter, I began to look at the beauty that is sprinkled throughout my ordinary days, that I would usually overlook. I took notice of the smaller details when I was walking our dog, going to the hardware store or a doctor’s appointment, with a special focus on the flora that so often sits in the peripheral without a second glance.
An exploration in shape, balance and colour – this is Peripheral.
